About us
Elise Hall Editions was founded with the purpose of offering carefully revised editions of works that are already part of the saxophone repertoire, but often lack an accessible edition. We also seek to create new arrangements that continue to expand and enrich the saxophone repertoire.

Frequently asked questions
What types of works are published at Elise Hall Editions?
Mainly transcriptions for classical saxophone of works originally written for violin or other string instruments. These are pieces that are already commonly performed, but are not usually available in revised professional editions.
In what formats can the scores be purchased?
Sheet music is currently available in digital format (PDF), ready for immediate download after purchase. We are working to offer print versions on demand in the future.
Do the scores include piano accompaniment?
Yes, if the original work included a piano part, the edition also reflects this. The product description clearly indicates whether the transcription includes the accompaniment part.
Who does the transcriptions?
All transcriptions are made and reviewed by Asun Ortiz, saxophonist and violinist. This dual training allows for rigorous adaptations, respecting the work's original style and ensuring idiomatic writing for the saxophone.
Can I use these scores in concerts, exams, or competitions?
Yes. The editions are prepared with a professional approach and can be used in academic and artistic contexts. We recommend checking the specific requirements of the center or competition if you have any questions.
Are suggestions for works to be transcribed or arranged accepted?
Of course. You can write to us using the contact form or by email with your proposal. For more information, visit the Services section.
Do they include editorial notes or interpretive suggestions?
Some transcriptions include relevant technical comments or editorial decisions, especially when there are significant changes from the original. This is indicated in the description of each work.
